# Export Everything in Transit from Zas

> Download a full ZIP export of everything currently in transit in Zas. Your data, your copy, anytime you want it.

Zas makes it as easy to leave as it is to join. You can export everything currently in transit at any time. The result is a ZIP file containing all your items, ready to keep or move elsewhere.

## How to export

    In [zas.web](https://zas.web) or the Android app, tap your profile icon and choose **Settings**.

  <Step title="Choose Export">
    Tap **Export everything in transit**. Zas prepares a ZIP file containing all items in your channels.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Download the ZIP">
    When the archive is ready, download it to your device. The file includes files, images, text, and metadata.
  </Step>

## What is included

* All files, images, and video currently in transit
* All text and code snippets
* Metadata such as send date and expiry status

## What is not included

* Items that have already expired
* Items in channels you no longer have access to

  Export is a snapshot of what is currently in transit. Expired items are gone permanently and cannot be recovered.
