# Delete Your Zas Account Permanently

> Delete your Zas account as easily as you created it. Learn what is removed, what happens to your items, and how long the process takes.

Zas makes account deletion as easy as sign-up. There are no dark patterns, no retention traps, and no mandatory cooling-off periods. You can start the deletion process from your settings at any time.

## How to delete your account

    In [zas.web](https://zas.web) or the Android app, tap your profile icon and choose **Settings**.

  <Step title="Choose Delete account">
    Scroll to the bottom and tap **Delete account**. Zas shows you exactly what will be removed before you confirm.

  <Step title="Confirm">
    Tap **Confirm deletion**. Your account and all associated data are scheduled for permanent removal.

## What is removed

* Your account and Google identity link
* All items currently in transit across all your channels
* All shared channel memberships you own or participate in
* All pins, share links, and export history

## What is not removed

* Items you sent to shared channels may remain visible to other members until they expire naturally
* Public share links stop working immediately

  Deletion is permanent. Expired items are already gone, and active items are removed immediately. There is no recovery.
